Pretty in Pink

I made this card for a special little girl’s first birthday. It’s one of the cards I’d put into my  cute, quick and under ten minutes category.

Birthday Rosette CardThe details:

  • Paper – Primrose petals (2013-2014 in colour) base, rosette made with patio party designer series paper (DSP).
  • Stamp – Hostess Carry On set
  • Argyle embossing folder
  • Simply scored (to create the rosette)

Clean, simple, under ten minutes and perfect for a pretty pink party!

I’ll be back with another post tomorrow.  What are your plans this weekend? I’m excited for a day of crafting tomorrow including starting my This and That journal!

Giving thanks

I’ve wanted to share this card for a while. I used the same tea shoppe stamp set that is used a few posts below and love how a plain whisper white cardstock background can look so rich with a splash of colour. ImageAs many of you know, I’m huge on sending thank you notes. This one was for M’s Aunt and Uncle who always appreciate a good cup of tea.

What I used:

  • Stamp set- Tea shoppe (one of my favourites!)
  • Ink – Black Stazon
  • Paper – base of whisper white, raspberry ripple, summer starfruit, pool party, lucky limade
  • 1 inch circle punch

The little touch – big shot polka dot and fancy fan embossing folders.

Hope you enjoy! If you love this set as much as I do, be sure to pick it up at my store: and click shop now.

I’ll be back with a new card tomorrow.

Back to the blog

As life sometimes goes, you don’t always have as much time as you would like to cross off all the items on your to do list. Over the last year or so, I haven’t been able to update this space as often as I would have liked but I’m happy to report that my crafting and classes have not slowed down.

I look forward to getting back to posting regularly and updating the blog with all the projects that have kept me so busy over the last little while.

Thanks to all my regular customers and  supporters who have been buying products, coming to my classes and purchasing finished cards.

Wishing you all crafting sessions full of colour and creativity.
